Awakening of the Apprentice
Last year I had a Kickstarter for the Sword of Cho Nisi saga. One of the rewards was a short story written for the person who pledge a certain amount of money...with a character, friend, family, or themselves written in it. I had one person take the challenge, and so I wrote this story Awakening of the Apprentice. He loved the story, and up until now I hadn't shown it to anyone.
