I almost forgot today was Friday. I’m usually up at 5 am writing my Substack post. I don't know what happened other than I wanted to work on Land of Two Moons. which I did. And then forgot to write the newsletter again. But alas here I am at 3:11 PST.

Fantasy Fridays is the newsletter that goes out to paid subscribers with a preview to you folks who also get Tuesdays Tellings. I want to thank you for hanging in there, reading my musings, sharing, and giving me a thumbs up from time to time. Lately I have been so engrossed in writing it seems that’s what my newsletters have been about and I apologize if it’s been repetitive for you. Half of me thinks readers would like to be part of the process, and the other half of me thinks you’re bored to tears.

I would love to hear your comments.

Character study: Kezia. She’s the teenage daughter of Lord Sebal, enemy to the family of our main characters Hallie and Arthur. She hates the war and she hates that the young men of Bidsworth have to risk their lives over a few iron mines. Her militant activities include helping soldiers desert her father’s army. In so doing, Kezia enlists her own little band of outlaws. She’s smart, coy, rebellious, very pretty, and has an attitude that comes from foraging in the forest. Her compassion is for the peasants and her distaste of the overlords treating them like pawns. Kezia has a character arc in the story. She’s been fun to write.

Tell me about one of your character in your work in progress!
