Jumping January
And trying to keep up!
We’ve all heard the times they are a changing! That’s a famous Bob Dylan song:
Come gather 'round, people, wherever you roam
And admit that the waters around you have grown
And accept it that soon you'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth saving
And you better start swimmin' or you'll sink like a stone
For the times, they are a-changin'
Well, I can say that 2026 spotlights a change in time for all of us and I’m scrambling to cope. Even in my little world.
I’ve decided to combine Tuesday’s Telling with Fantasy Friday. So there will be one newsletter for all. The free one for everyone and the extension for paid subscribers. That will be less demanding on me, and less bothersome to you. I love keeping in touch with my readers and don’t want to scare any of you away with too many emails.
The new year has me
Illustrating a child’s book for DL Fowler, a story about William Henry Johnson, a freed slave who became good friends with Abraham Lincoln.
Formatting and doing cover art of a young adult novel for my friend Trisha M Stricklin.
Collaborating on a screenplay.
Finishing the touches on my soon to debut novel Land of Two Moons. I’m waiting on a couple of editorial reviews before completing the files.
Working on and promoting the pre launch to my Kickstarter for that novel.
And having a Pampered Chef Party for my daughter who is now a consultant. (I love their products).
Next week Lorri Moulton (Lavendar Lass) will be posting an interview we did together about Land of Two Moons, and I’ll share the link with you.
As you can see I’m scrambling, and jumping, and juggling and often have five or six tabs on my browser open at a time. I’ll be sharing details of some of these projects to my paid subscribers but until then I want to wish you all a happy, healthy, and peaceful New Year.
