Making more Words
Here's an interesting tip that I thought of for authors, writers and workers of the pen
I am finding my manuscript shy of about 10K words, and I remember going through a self edit software once that pointed out 'vague' sentences in my story. The more specific every sentence can be, the more you'll hold your reader.
So I'm performing a 'find' search through my manuscript looking for the word 'it', and explaining in each and every instance, where at all possible, exactly what 'it' is referring to. This practice is opening up a whole new level of story telling for me! Enjoy!
