One month from now I’ll have launched a campaign for my first ever leather hardbound book. It will be a gold stamped limited edition of Rise of the Tobian Princess, the first book of the Cho Nisi series.
The dust cover will be gold foil and textured and the design new that will also be on the paperback after the campaing closes.
This is the latest fantasy series I’ve written and I’m not opposed to creating more sequels. There are 5 books to the series now.
I did take some time off to write another series of short novels in the historical mystery genre.
To celebrate this new thing for me, I’m going to be posting some word art of passages in the book as the campaign nears. They’ll be on my blog, my facebook page, my newsletter.
I wrote the story in a protest to heros that seem to do no wrong. It’s about a teenage girl becoming a woman who just happens to have royal blood, but being the youngest of four children whose mother passed away in childbirth with her, she struggles to find her place in the world. Thinking she should be a warrior with her older brother, rather than a fussy princess like her twin sisters, she trains for battle. But the first time fighting against her foes, she makes a mistake that turns not only her world but her family’s world upside down. Leaving her father with no allies, her brother fighting an impossible war, she tries to make amends with the native tribe whose king she killed.
The story mounts with trials until it is finally resolved in book 3.
Each of these books will be released in leather like the first, in their own campaigns. I would love for you to follow along!
