Rogue Lands Chronicles

Hi, I’m D. R. Wolf and I’d like to introduce you to my Kickstarter for my book The Devil’s Gate, which is the first book in the fantasy series The Rogue Lands Chronicles. The Devil’s Gate is a progression fantasy set in the LitRPG world of the Rogue Lands where our hero, Maxwell Jones, must face deadly enemies in his quest to defeat the shadowy organisation, The Corporation, who own and run all major gaming competitions across the globe, but whose façade hides sinister intentions beneath.

In the real world, Max is a champion gamer with enough skills, magic and power to take on the whole world. Acting as a plant in a tournament ran by The Corporation, Max turns rogue, incurring the wrath of his paymasters and setting off a chain of events where leads him being transported to the Rogue Lands: a gaming world where all is not as it seems. Once there, he is a complete newb and must start his quest from scratch, building up his attributes so he is able to take on both The Corporation and the evil demons threatening to tear the Rogue Lands apart. As you join Max, you will see he faces quests, challenges, find friends to help and enemies to fight, where his magical abilities will be put to the test. How will he fare? The answers lie within the story!

So, if you enjoy reading about unlikely heroes, battling their way through magical lands, fighting terrifying enemies, solving puzzles and forming new friendships then this book is definitely for you.

I’m running this Kickstarter to allow me to produce the book in both paperback and hardback editions, to complement the e-book. It’s really exciting to take this step and share the story exclusively to Kickstarter and to take the chance to invite you all to come along for the ride!
