I’ve been really busy working on my fantasy series. But I have a sequel planned for Hoarfrost to Roses and I think it’s going to be a fun story. If you haven’t read Hoarfrost to Roses, it takes place in a Pacific Northwest community in 1879 and is a mystery and sweet romance with a touch of the occult.
I enjoyed writing Grai and his Spirit immensely. The dialogue between the two seemed real and mirrored my thought processes between the good and not-so-good inside of me. The sequel will continue that theme because even though Grai had been healed in Hoarfrost to Roses, bonding again with his spirit was mostly for Adele’s sake… the naive side of Grai will still sneak off occasionally and find trouble he’s not looking for!
The story is going to be a fun mystery series, especially since they all live in a ghost-ridden town so much like Port Townsend - which was the inspiration.
I hope to begin writing on it when I finish all this other stuff I’m doing. It’s Ian’s Realm’s 10th anniversary this year and I’m attempting to bundle them differently and have new covers made for the series and offer it on Kickstarter. It doesn’t look like I’ll get to that until fall, though.
Enjoy the Roses from my garden!
While I’ve got your attention, I’ve two friends who also have a Kickstarter happening.

And if you’d like to support my campaign, I’d love it!
