Well I’ve had another studio set back, and another grandson move in temporarily. The challenges of being a grandparent! But that’s what we’re here for. That’s why us old folks hang around for so long, I guess. Everyone needs a hand up, and most certainly our priorities are our children and our children’s children. So because there’s only so much space in this little abode of ours, I have to tighten the belt with studio time, which probably means no new paintings for awhile.
Even though my artwork at the moment is spotty, I was gifted some wonderful art supplies and I’m anxious to use them. So when I can paint again I will do so in full force.
Even if I only do one or two illustrations in oils for the book, I think that will give the story an advantage. This is its debut. The launch is due in September and I will be holding to that.
